10th June 2024 – Latest Positions
I have to apologise for only producing this first set of Latest Positions in June. But if you look at the table below you can see the problem. Out of the 20 cachers who agreed to take part in the race this year only 12 have released their coins!
I sent everybody who hadn’t released their coin a personal email asking them to do so, and I have been pleading in the Facebook Groups for the same to happen.
At the end of last year I wrote this “Unfortunately the race this year has been marred by those not activating and releasing their coins for others to find. This has been by far the worst year for this in the 9 years I have run the race. It brings into question whether or not there will be future races, but it would be such a shame to end it all just one year short of our 10th year.” I decided to go ahead this year but the situation is even worse.
Many thanks to those who have released their coins, but to everybody else PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE activate your coins and release them!
