I am a keen walker and want to incorporate geocashing into my walks which a normally full day affairs. I have registered but want to know if there is a way to find caches on a walk or do I need to put a postcode into the main site and note down each cache in the vicinity? Thanks in advance.

Or the other option is print of the required coordinates and manually put them into your GPS.

Follow the advice above from Redvanman1971, you could also pop along to an event. There is one on the January 29 Dartmoor Bimonthly Midweek Event pop along meet a few local cachers and get all the advice you need. Its very informal and very friendly.
